Right now, Washington state law bans you from buying vehicles from any zero emission vehicle manufacturer of your choice. You can’t even test drive cars available for purchase.
That’s because Washington law gives one zero-emission-vehicle-only manufacturer an unfair advantage no one else gets.
Eight in ten Washingtonians want our leaders in Olympia to end this loophole and update our laws so that consumers can buy a vehicle directly from any zero emission car manufacturer that does not currently have a dealer network in the state.
